This information is required to set up your web site on our servers and access your email. We suggest you take the time to read it carefully so you know how to access your account and how to use some important features.

Account administration area use the following login page (Add email accounts, view site usage statistics etc.):

User Name: USERNAME <== This is NOT your ".Com" domain name)
Password: PASSWORD

EMAIL ACCESS (ONLINE) (by web browser):

Address: http://www.YOURDOMAIN.com/webmail
Email User Name: YOUREMAILADDRESS@YOURDOMAIN.COM <== Your full email address
Email Password: EMAILACCOUNTPASSWORD

SETTING UP AN EMAIL PROGRAM ON YOUR COMPUTER:
You can use an email client such as Outlook Express or Eudora in addition to web mail. For help setting up Outlook Express, please go to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/using/howto/oe/setup.mspx
       Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: mail.YOURDOMAIN.com
     Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: Contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) for instructions on setting up your email account's outgoing emails.
     User Name or Account Name: Your full email address.  EXAMPLE: somename@YOURDOMAIN.com
     Password: The password you created for the email account.

FTP ACCESS:

Host Name: ftp.YOURDOMAIN.COM ( or use 67.18.172.146 BEFORE your domain's DNS points at our servers - See below).
Login User Name: USERNAME
Password: PASSWORD
Web Site Upload Directory (Folder): public_html

NOTES FOR WEBMASTERS:

*       Our hosting computers use Apache server software running on the Linux operating system.
*       Directory folders, file names and link names are case sensitive. For example, FileName.html is different from filename.html.
*       Web site root directory name is public_html.

NAME SERVERS:

Primary: ns5.internetwebbuilders.com
Secondary: ns6.internetwebbuilders.com

NOTES.

Please note that if your domain name is a new registration it may take up to 3 days for the DNS information to propagate across the Internet. During this period please use the 67.18.172.146 IP address as shown above instead of your domain name, to access or connect to your site. If you opened a web hosting account for a domain name that is already registered, you need to modify the DNS (Domain Name Servers) information on your domain registration. If you don't know how to change DNS information for your domain you need to contact your registrar where the domain was purchased.

DNS (Domain Name Server) propagation essentially means "when you your domain name (your 'Dot Com Name') becomes active or, goes live on our servers. This is typically 24 to 72 hours after you or we initiate DNS settings.

IMPORTANT:
You must check email BEFORE sending email. This is to avoid non-clients from using our mail servers for spam (unsolicited email), which we forbid. You have 30 minutes from the last time you check mail to send mail (Please note this restriction does not apply to web mail.)
